Kim was raised in a military family and considers herself a transplant to Leesville, Louisiana.  Kim has been with Entrance Road Veterinary Clinic since June 2016.  She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in business as well as a veterinary technology degree from Northwestern State University.

Kim has a deep and passionate love for all animals and loves the opportunity to meet new patients.  She thinks of all animals that come to Entrance Road Veterinary Clinic as one of her special “fur babies.”

Kim and her husband, Jeff, have two wonderful children that keep them very busy.  Kim enjoys traveling, reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family.  She also fosters dogs for Louisiana Lifelines 4 Canines rescue, but is a self-confessed multiple “foster fail” because she gets attached and they become part of the family.  The Rodgers family has eight dogs, three cats, two sugar gliders, and Timmy the Turtle (not a fur baby.)

Fun Facts:

• Has no objections to leaving her husband for Thor.

• Her Patronus is a dolphin.

• Is ridiculously possessive of her parking spot at work.  (And yes. She knows how ridiculous this is….)

• Will hunt anyone down that steals her pen.

• Goal in life is to become a Carnival VIFP Diamond Card Holder.

• When she grows up, she wants to become a race car driver.
